Kato Paphos In March
Kato Paphos, and indeed, the entire region, is gradually evolving. Over the weekend I had a wander around the area to take a closer look at some of the changes. I also took the opportunity to take some nice shots of the Sea Front area.
Blue Skies

It was gloriously sunny on Sunday morning, when I took these pictures. As I write this in a Coffee Shop on Monday morning, the weather is a little overcast. I am still in my shorts and a T shirt though, as the temperature is now a lot warmer than it was a couple of weeks ago.
Anyway, we shall begin our journey at the top end of the Sea Front. I am going to have a wander around Kato Paphos before walking up to the castle. Let's see what we find...
Central Church

Nothing new here, but it looked very impressive, and as it was Sunday morning, I could hear the deep singing voice of the priest emanating from within the central Church walls.
Protected Ruins

I had come this way because I wanted to show off the viewing area around the ruins they discovered when they were renovating the road network.
Another View

I wonder what else lurks beneath the soil here?
St Paul's Museum

This building near Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is being converted into a museum dedicated to St Paul. It will no doubt complement the famous pillar you can find in the grounds of the church. Still no news on the walkways that run through the area yet though, I am afraid. Hopefully their turn will come soon.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
