Holidays in Paphos, Cyprus
The Sea Front
The film above is probably the most popular we have done. It shows the coast path from Geroskipou to Paphos Harbour. This is essentially what you see on the other side of the hotels that you saw in the previous film. Not bad, eh?

Where To Eat

Another very common question on the forum is where to eat. Paphos has a lot to offer, both in the Coast Area, Old Town and beyond. Kebabs are great food on the go, and are a lot more healthy than the British equivalent. If you want sauce you will have to ask for it though, as Cypriots tend to prefer simple adornments like salt and lemon juice. While you are out here you should definitely try some local classics. Souvla (big lumps of meat) and souvlaki (little lumps) are commonplace, especially during the summer, but don't ignore Kleftico, Stifado, and a host of other delicious meals.
Our restaurant directory is packed with recommended restaurants of a variety of food types. (Cypriot, Indian, Chinese etc etc). You can also filter for allergies, if you need gluten free, for instance. And if a restaurant isn't in the directory, it doesn't mean it is bad. It just means that nobody has mentioned it on the forum yet. So why not try it and tell us how you found it?
What To See

The biggest tourist attraction in Paphos is of course the Archaeological Park. This is a UNESCO site and should be considered an essential part of any itinery. We have produced a lot of information on the park, including a virtual tour. The easiest way to find it all is on the dedicated page.
You can also find the large version of our virtual tour on Google Street View. We uploaded over 3000 panoramic photos to give you the ultimate street view experience!
The Old Town

A visit to the Old Town is also essential. Whether it is just to soak up the atmosphere, to enjoy a tasty meal or to buy something from one of the many shops, you are sure to have a nice time wondering the mostly-pedestrianised area. We like it so much we dedicated an entire website to it, complete with a 300+ location virtual tour.
We have also written a number of articles on the Old Town. Our last feature spanned 7 parts.
Tours

Cyprus is great to explore on your own, but if you are on a limited time you may want to consider an organised tour. They are also useful if you want a safe way to get to Blue Lagoon or to see turtles etc.
